Molded glass bottles are produced by molds. The mold stitching line and the mouth mold line of glass bottles, cracks at the bottom of the bottle, insufficient internal working pressure resistance, insufficient heat resistance and so on are all caused by the bad condition of the mold. Therefore, the quality of the mold can directly harm the quality of the molded glass bottles. After the application of the mold, it is also necessary to maintain the mold frequently to ensure that the glass bottle produced does not occur product quality problems.
Then how do we often how to repair the mold?
1. Cleaning the mold, cleaning the initial mold, forming mold, punching needle and mouth die, proposing to use dry test jet aircraft method to clean;
Second, the initial inspection, comprehensive inspection of the initial mold synthesis mold size tolerance specifications, volume and mold pig iron situation, and record the relevant data information in the mold inspection list and maintenance list.
Thirdly, basically repair and repair the damaged position. Spray welding should be carried out on the position of die seam, and spray welding should be carried out on all tightly connected parts. Adjust the joint parts of the initial die and the dull head, milling the joint parts of the die, printing and extrusion taps of the die base plate, and grinding the die parts and the die.
Fourth, the final inspection, the initial mold synthesis mold maintenance, to use micrometer, micrometer and screw plug gauge final inspection.
The above maintenance procedures and processes are slightly different from the timely maintenance of molds in the production process or the advance preparation of molds for production change. Before loading the mold into the bottle making machine, it is critical to re-check the mold parts or the full set of molds that have been repaired. In order to better ensure the reliability of manufacturing standards, all key specifications must be consistent with the original design specifications.
Especially in the critical production of lightweight bottles in the glass bottle factory, mold and accessories materials should be paid attention to. For example: the hole pressure blowing made of the needle material needs to have sufficient reliability. If the internal metal on the surface of the punching needle falls down, it is likely to be attached to the inner surface of the empty bottle to produce "black spots", which greatly reduces the impact resistance and other physical performance parameters of the molded glass bottle.
